Sheril S. (Sears) Jones

Sheril S. (Sears) Jones, 48, of Hopedale MA, died Thursday (July 25, 2019) at Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness

Sheril was born in Framingham MA and attended Hopedale public schools. She was a graduate of Hopedale High School, Class of 1989 and received her associate’s degree from Newbury College in Wellesley MA.

Sheril began her career in banking working at the Milford Federal Bank. She later worked at the Benjamin Franklin Savings Bank and lastly had been employed as an assistant bank manager for Rockland Trust, working at the main office in Franklin MA. She had also served on the Hopedale Historical Commission.

Sheril is survived by her son: Alexander Robert Jones of Milford MA; her mother: Diane M. (Tomassini) Sears and her husband Fred of Hopedale MA; her father: John Small and his wife Carol of Doylestown PA; her former husband: Robert W. Jones of Milford MA; 2 brothers: Scott E. Sears and his wife Lisa of Southington CT and Jay Small of Weymouth MA; her maternal grandmother: Josephine (Parente) Tomassini of Northbridge MA; and her nephew: Benjamin Sears of Southington CT

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life on Friday  (August 2nd ) from 12:30pm to 2pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial of her cremains will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery.
