Stephen Fisher Obituary

 Mr. Stephen D. Fisher, 69, of Milford MA and formerly of Holbrook MA died unexpectedly on Monday (July 2, 2018) at his residence.

 

Stephen was born in Boston MA, the son of the late David B. Fisher and the son of Barbara A. (Paine) Barnes of Hanson MA. He was a graduate of Boston College High School and had attended Boston College. While in high school, he was an accomplished athlete, excelling in sports, especially in football, where he was named the MVP of the football team.

 

Stephen was a Viet Nam war veteran , having served in the US Army. He had been a resident of Milford MA for the past thirty years, and prior to that had grown up in Holbrook MA.

 

Along with his beloved mother, he is survived by his 4 siblings: Deborah, wife of David Surtees of Lexington MA; Gayle, wife of Robert Hicks of Westwood MA; Lynne, wife of Dennis Heitmann of Tensed ID and Paul Fisher of Kapaa HI;  a brother-in-law: Bill Kimball of Kauai HI; also several nieces & nephews. Stephen was the brother of the late Shelley Kimball.

 

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday (July 22nd) from 2pm to 3pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
