Thomas Roger Morin

Mr. Thomas R. Morin,  66, of Milford MA, died Friday (April 21, 2017) at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Barbara J.  (Arnold) Morin.

Mr. Morin was born in Milford MA, the son of Clarence and Catherine (Coffey) Morin. He attended the former St. Mary’s grammar school and was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School, Class of 1968. He was also a graduate of St. Anselm’s College, Class of 1972.

Mr. Morin was the longtime owner & operator of Morin’s Studio & Camera Shop located in Milford, a well known family business that he joined his father in the operation of, as a younger man.

Mr. Morin was a longtime communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. He loved to play golf and to ski, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Along with his beloved wife of 43 years, he is survived by his 2 Children: Christopher J. Morin and his wife Anne of Milford MA and MaryKate Morin of Milford MA; his Grandchildren: Brendan Morin and Kayleigh Morin of Milford MA; his Parents: Clarence and Catherine (Coffey) Morin of Milford MA; 3 Sisters: Susan, wife of Kenneth Schoenberg of Milford MA, Barbara, wife of Stephen Savage of Milford MA and Nancy Morin of Milford MA; 1 Brother: Gary Morin and his wife Sue of Arizona; also several nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.

 His funeral will be held Tuesday (April 25th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed  by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Monday (April 24th) from 5pm to 8pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
