Mr. William E. He was the beloved husband of Rosemary (McNamara) Quirk and father of Patrick and Michael Quirk.

Mr. Quirk was born in Milford MA, the son of the late William E. Quirk Sr. and the son of Elinor (Black) Quirk of Milford MA. He attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School, Class of 1965. He was also a graduate of Stonehill College, Class of 1969, where he received his bachelor’s in science degree in accounting.

Mr. Quirk began his longtime career working as a certified public accountant in 1969, first working for Lybrand Ross Bros. & Montgomery. He became a partner of Coopers & Lybrand in 1979 and retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2008 after 39 years in public accounting.

A voracious reader, Mr. Quirk was known to read over 100 books a year. He was passionate about hunting, making annual trips to New York with his best friends, and following the Boston Red Sox and the NE Patriots. He had many interests, but most of all, loved spending time with his family, especially his boys and being a grandfather.
