Mr. Alfred B. DiAntonio, 71, of Grafton MA and formerly of Milford MA died Friday evening (September 4, 2026) at the UMASS-Memorial Medical Center- Belmont Campus.
Alfred was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Joseph C. DiAntonio and the late Margaret B. (Brown) DiAntonio. He attended public schools in Milford MA and Indian Lake Academy in Worcester MA.
Alfred had been employed as a young man working in the maintenance department at the former Framingham Union Hospital. He had been a resident of Grafton MA for the past 31years.
Alfred was an avid walker & he loved being outdoors. He loved going to Martha’s Vineyard on family visits and also loved to quahog with his late father Joseph. He was also an avid supporter of food banks.
Alfred is survived by his brothers: Jerry DiAntonio and his wife Elaine of Sun City FL and James DiAntonio and his wife Pam of Mashpee MA; his sisters: Jessie Traigen and her husband Jason of Sarasota FL, Maggie Chianese and her husband Tony of Mendon MA and Lisa Simmons and her husband Lester of Milford MA; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews.
Alfred was the brother of the late Marcie McGrath; the late Joseph DiAntonio Jr., and the late Robert DiAntonio.
In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. A Private Committal Service of his cremains will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA at the convenience of the family.
