Mrs. Anna M. (Ferrelli) Sartain, 94, of Milford MA, died Friday evening (December 18, 2020) at Care One of Millbury in Millbury MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis X. Sartain Sr., who died in 2018.

Anna was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Gaetano and the late Filomena (Giardano) Ferrelli. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School. She also was a graduate of the former Becker Junior College in Worcester MA. Anna was employed for many years as a secretary at the US Army Laboratories located in Natick MA.

Anna was a longtime communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She had been a member of the Milford Community Choir and had also volunteered at the Milford Middle School. She loved to read, loved gardening, loved going to yard sales and walked six miles per day, even into her early 90's.

Anna is survived by her son: Francis X. Sartain Jr., and his wife Dean Ann of Uxbridge MA; her grandson: Nathan Francis Sartain and his wife Lindsay of Somerville MA and several nieces & nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and her family's concern for the wellbeing of family members & friends a Private Funeral will be held on Tuesday (December 22nd) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no visiting hours. Social distancing protocols & use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.
