Atty. Charles J. "Chuck" Ferrera, 67, of Honolulu HI died on August 9, 2018. He was born and raised in Massachusetts. He graduated from Oberlin College and later earned his Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University.

He made Hawaii his home in 1981 after joining the law firm of Schutter, Cayetano, Playdon & Pavey as a trial attorney. He opened his own law practice serving clients in Hawaii and California in 1986.

Chuck is survived by his partner Janice P. Kim; his mother, Regina Ferrera of Milford MA; a sister, Susan, wife of Ron Fenn of Danville NH; a brother, James Ferrera and his wife Lydia Kappel, MD of Florence MA and their children Laurel Ferrer, Charles Ferrera and Michael Ferrera,MD. Chuck was predeceased by his father, Charles J. Ferrera Sr., MD.

A Private Graveside Committal Service will be held in Winthrop Cemetery in Winthrop MA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
