Mrs. Beverly Ann (McGrath) Bresciani, 92, formerly of Hopedale MA and Franklin MA died Tuesday (September 15, 2026) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl R. Bresciani who died in 2020.
Beverly was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late James H. McGrath and the late Martha F. (Burns) McGrath. She attended the former St. Mary’s Grammar School and was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1951.
Beverly was first employed as a young woman working at the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale MA. She then was employed at the MC Machine Shop located in Hopedale MA and retired from Natick Labs.
Beverly resided most of her life in Hopedale MA and Harwich MA. While enjoying her retirement, she and her late husband Carl had resided at The Villages in Florida for a number of years. She had resided in Franklin MA these past few years to be near her beloved family.
Beverly was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Hopedale MA and had been a longtime member of the church’s Women’s Club. She had also been a member of the Women’s Bowling League in Hopedale and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. But her favorite activity was being the #1 supporter of her grandchildren’s numerous sporting events & other activities.
Beverly is survived by her 4 children: Michael Bresciani and his wife Maureen of Uxbridge MA, Paul Bresciani of Chatham MA, Jane Gallagher of Milford MA and Carla Jones and her husband Michael of Uxbridge MA; her 9 grandchildren: Kristen Bresciani, Luca Bresciani, Katie Eppley, Kevin Bresciani, Kelley Gallagher, Cameron Gallagher, Kerri Ciarcia, Meghan Jones and Erin Jones; her 4 great grandchildren: Kendall Bresciani, Abigail Eppley, Calvin Eppley and Cora Bresciani; her sister: Mary Bresciani of Milford MA; and several nieces & nephews.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Visiting hours will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED, followed by a Prayer Service. Burial of her cremains will then follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery.
