Mrs. Catherine A. (Bringhurst) Boland, 71, of Milford MA died Monday (December 7, 2015) at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester MA surrounded by her loving family after an unexpected illness.

Mrs. Boland was born in Philadelphia PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Catherine (Harkins) Bringhurst. She attended catholic schools in Philadelphia, graduating from St. Hubert's High School.

Mrs. Boland had been employed for over twenty years at Waters Corporation in Milford, retiring in 2014. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Milford and a member of the Milford Garden Club. She enjoyed playing tennis, but most of all spending time with her family.

Mrs. Boland is survived by her 3 Children: Jenifer, wife of Michael Reed of NJ, Megan, wife of Eria Morrison of Milford MA and Cullen Boland and his wife Patty of Weymouth MA; her 3 Grandchildren: Gavin Reed, Keegan Reed and Ella Bolland; 1 Brother: James Bringhurst of FL; several nieces & nephews; and her beloved dog "Otis".

Mrs. Boland was the mother of the late Jeffrey Bolland who died in 2013 and the sister of the late Eileen McLaughlin.

Her funeral will be held Thursday (December 10th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be Wednesday (December 9th) from 4pm to 7pm.
