Mr. Charles E. MacRae, 36, of Milford MA died Monday (May 2, 2022) at his residence after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Rachel Ann (Lemieux) MacRae.

Charlie was born in Milford MA and was a graduate of Blackstone-Millville Regional High School. He has been a resident of Milford MA since 2015 and prior to that had resided in Hopedale MA and Blackstone MA.

Charlie had been employed as a meat cutter at various local supermarkets for several years. He also owned & operated Up Town Tattoo, located in Hopedale MA.

Charlie was loved to be involved with the local community. He was an avid Marvel comic book fan and an avid movie buff. He also was an avid outdoorsman who loved bush crafting. His family noted that he knew a plethora of useful information, ready to answer any problem. And his favorite past-time was spending time with his beloved family.

Along with his beloved wife of 9 years, he is survived by his 4 children: Alexandria M. Goodman and her wife Autumn Fregeau of Milford MA,, Sierra N. Giunta, wife of Adam Giunta of Charlton MA, Zackary W. R. Currie of Milford MA and Liam C. MacRae of Blackstone MA; his 2 grandchildren: Melanie Belanger and Naomi Goodman; 2 dear friends who were like a brother to him: Aaron Smith of FL and Brandon Elliott of CT.

Charlie is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins including his sister-in-law: Molly Smith; his brother-in-law: Steve Lemieux; his nephew: Thomas Fitzgibbons; his niece: Brianne Patterson his nephew Ric Smith and his cousin: Adam MacRae.

Charlie is also survived by his beloved pet cats: "Slim Shady" & "Hailie Jade" and his beloved pet dog "Chase".

A Funeral Service will be held Friday (May 6th) at 11am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday morning (May 6th) from 9am to 11am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to his Funeral Service.
