Mrs. Deanna M. (Romeiro) Theroux, 81, of Hopedale MA died Friday (February 7, 2025) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Theroux.
Deanna was born in Acushnet MA, the daughter of the late Joseph I. Romeiro and the late Blanche (St Jean) Romeiro. She attended public schools in Woonsocket RI and later in life attained her associates degree from Community College of Rhode Island.
Deanna was first employed as a young woman at the former Porter Shoe Company located in Milford MA. She then became a devoted housewife & mother for several years. Upon returning to the work force, she was employed at the former Zayre Corporation; the former Woonsocket Savings Bank; the former Belair Gardens Patio Store in Bellingham MA and the Key Boston Company in Franklin MA.
Deanna loved to travel but her favorite past time was spending time with her beloved family members, especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Deanna is survived by her 2 daughters: Debra A. Nadeau and her spouse Linda Hoss of Coeur d Alene Idaho and Donna M. Apicella and her husband David of Hopedale MA; her 3 grandchildren: Rebecca St Onge and her husband Kevin of Bolton MA, Matthew Kamfonik and his wife Ashley of Brooklyn CT and Andrew Kamfonik-Landry and his wife Sheryl of Woonsocket RI; her 3 great grandchildren: Jackson Kamfonik, Luka Kamfonik and Henry St Onge; several nieces & nephews; also her former husband: Bertrand Landry of North Port FL.
Deanna was the sister of the late Blanche Peloquin and the late Joseph Romeiro.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of her Life will take place at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on SATURDAY (May 31st) from 10:00am to 12 NOON, followed by a Prayer Service at 12 NOON. Burial of her cremains will follow in St. James Cemetery in Lincoln RI.
