Denise (Baldwin) Cruz Brown, 66, of North Grosvenordale CT and formerly of Milford MA died unexpectedly on Wednesday (October 30, 2024) at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Brown.

Denise was born in Kaiserslauten Germany, the daughter of the late William R. Baldwin and the late Josephine (Carrick) Baldwin. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School.

Denise had been employed for many years in the health care industry, working as a licensed nursing assistant at various nursing homes. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Thompson CT.

Denise is survived by her 2 children: Nicole DeJesus and her husband Edward DeJesus of North Grosvenordale CT   &    Nathaniel Cruz and his wife Sarah Cruz of Milford MA; her 10 grandchildren: Edward DeJesus Jr., Javier DeJesus, Cristian DeJesus, Isabella Cruz, Jack Cruz, Caleb Cruz, Luciana Cruz, Sofia Cruz, Brendan Cruz and Isaiah Cruz; her siblings: Teresa Gonsalves and her husband Anthony Gonsalves of Milford MA, Daniel Baldwin of Worcester MA & Elizabeth Baldwin of Providence RI; also her nieces: Erin Cheschi of Johnston RI, Ashlye Brennan of Winthrop MA and Savanna Baldwin of Worcester MA.

Denise was the sister of the late Paul Baldwin who died in 2006.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Graveside Committal Service on SATURDAY (November 23rd) at 11:00AM at Hopedale Village Cemetery, Mendon Street (Rte16) Hopedale MA .
