Mrs. Doris C. (Bartlett) Pouliot, 88, of Mendon MA died Friday evening (October 9, 2026) at the Holy Trinity Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Worcester MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Roger R. Pouliot who died in 2019.


Doris was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Robert Bartlett and the late Alice (LaMothe) Bartlett. She attended the former Henry P. Clough Elementary School in Mendon MA and was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School in Milford MA, Class of 1956. She also attended Johnson & Wales College in Rhode Island.


Doris was employed for many years at the former American Telephone & Telegraph Company.


As a devoted housewife and mother she volunteered for the Cub Scouts for 4 years and later for the Boy Scouts of America, where she served as a secretary for 10 years. She was also an active member of the Milford Senior Center and was a past member of the Red Hat Society. She also loved to play the piano & the organ.


Doris also loved dancing, walking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cooking for her 2 grandsons.


Doris is survived by her 2 sons: Mark Pouliot and his wife Cindy of Mendon MA and Christopher Pouliot and his lifetime partner Timothy Lamb of Walpole MA; her 2 grandsons: James Pouliot of Uxbridge MA and Jeremy Pouliot and his wife Danielle of Uxbridge MA; also survived by cousins & one niece.


In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. There are no other funeral services planned. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston MA 02115 or to American Heart Association, 93 Worcester Street, Wellesley MA 02481.
