Dr. Eustacio A. Peña Malek, 78, of Uxbridge MA died Friday (September 18, 2026) at his residence in Uxbridge MA after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Norca O. Pimentel.
Dr. Peña Malek was born in the Dominican Republic, in the city of Santo Domingo, the son of the late Tacito Peña Carrazco and the late Ana (Malek) Lopez.
He graduated from medical school to become a doctor, in the Dominican Republic at UASD (Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo) in 1978. He also graduated from medical school I Holistic & Natural Medicine in 1988.
At first Dr. Peña Malek was employed as an emergency room physician at Centro Medico de Guaynabo Puerto Rico from 1983 to 1991. He then operated his own private practice in Puerto Rico from 1991 to 1996. He had resided in Milford MA from 1996 to 20021 and been a resident of Uxbridge MA since 2002.
Dr. Peña Malek had been the Pastor, along with his beloved wife Norca, at Ministerio Cristiano Filadelfia Church, located in Milford MA from 2000 until his untimely death. He loved the church profoundly and loved to drive the church’s van.
Dr. Peña Malek loved spending time with his wife, his sons & his grand kids. He loved sports of all kinds, especially baseball & football and loved teaching his grand kids how to play sports & ride their bikes. He also was an avid fisherman.
Along with his beloved wife, he is survived by his 3 sons: Abraham Peña of Douglas MA, Emmanuel Peña and his wife Jaqueline S. Peña of Worcester MA and Jesus Joel Peña and his wife Rochele L Peña of Douglas MA; his 3 grandchildren: Jordan Peña of Douglas MA, Juliana Peña of Douglas MA and Caleb Peña of Worcester MA.
Dr. Peña Malek is also survived by his siblings: Jose Peña Malek of the Dominican Republic, Maritza Peña Malek of San Juan Puerto Rico and Marino Peña Malek of Guaynabo Puerto Rico. He was the brother of the late Miguel Peña Malek of Guaynabo Puerto Rico. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to the family on Tuesday evening (September 22nd) from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Cementerio Porta Coeli in Bayamon Puerto Rico at the convenience of the family.
