Mrs. Elaine M. (Tessicini) Holland, 80, of Hopedale MA died Sunday (December 18, 2022) at Salem Hospital in Salem MA after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Edward A. Holland Sr.

Elaine was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Eugene Tessicini and the late Jennie (Manella) Tessicini.

She was a graduate of the former St. Mary's Central Catholic High School, Class of 1959 and also a graduate of the former Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing in 1962.

Elaine had been employed as a registered nurse at the Milford Regional Medical Center for twenty-eight years, retiring in 1997. Elaine had been a resident of Hopedale MA for many years.

Along with her beloved husband of 58 years she is survived by her 2 children: Edward A. Holland Jr. and his wife Sandra of Hopedale MA and Erin M. Halpin and her husband Sean M. Halpin of Milford MA; also her 4 grandchildren: Sean M. Halpin Jr. of Milford MA, Kara E. Halpin of Milford MA, Jennifer C. Holland of Troy NY and Edward A. Holland III of Hopedale MA.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, for Elaine & her husband Edward who died Friday December 23rd, at 10AM in Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no visiting hours.
