Mr. Felix Correia Martins, 85, of Milford MA died Tuesday (July 18, 2023) at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Maria Iva (Lima) Martins.

Felix was born in Cape Verde, the son of the late Miguel Martins Dos Santos and the late Isabel (Correia) Varela. He attended school in Cape Verde as a young boy.

Felix had been employed for many years as a ship's mechanic, working in the cargo shipping industry.

Along with his beloved wife, he is survived by his 14 children: Lola Martins, Lino Paulo Martins, Carlos Pina Martins, Jorge Pina Martins, Victor Lopes Correia, Manuel Pina Martins, Tito Livio Martins, Jose Miguel Pina Martins, Manuela Pina Martins, Maria Irene Lima Martins, Elisangela Maria Lima Martins, Vera Lucia Pina Martins, Katia Rosana Lima Martins & Carina Sofia Lima Martins; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several siblings; many nieces & nephews.

His funeral will be held Monday (July 24th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no visiting hours.
