Mrs. Gail K. (Jackson) Burns, 72, of Bellingham MA, died Thursday evening (February 25, 2021) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence A. Burns.

Gail was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of the late Richard and the late Elizabeth (Lavallee) Jackson. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1966. She was also a graduate of Newton Junior College, where she attained her nursing degree.

Gail had been employed for many years as a registered nurse at the Medfield State Hospital. She has been a resident of Bellingham MA for the past seven years and prior to that had resided in Millis MA.

Along with her beloved husband of 53 years, she is survived by her sister: Karen Jackson and her longtime companion Louis Sabatinelli Jr. of Milford MA; also several aunts, uncles & cousins.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday (March 3rd) at 11am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. A Graveside Committal Services will be held on Wednesday (March 3rd) at 12NOON in North Purchase Cemetery, Pinewood Road, Milford MA. Social distancing protocols & the use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.
