Mr. George C. Warren, 55, of Milford MA died Friday (April 22, 2022) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

George was born in Framingham MA, the son of the late George G. Warren and the late Phyllis C. (Pisini) Warren. He attended the former Milford Catholic Elementary School and was a graduate of the Blackstone Valley Technical Vocational High School, Class of 1985.

George was first employed as a bartender at the former Red Vest Pub located in Milford, which later became Richard's Restaurant. He was currently employed as a manager at the Dollar General Store in Milford MA.

George was a longtime avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (before Tom Brady played there), as well as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He was also an avid Boston Bruins & Boston Celtics fan.

George is survived by his 2 sisters: Sylvia, wife of Robert Burlingame of Upton MA and Angela Warren of Milford MA. George was affectionately known as "Uncle G" by his cherished nieces Elizabeth,wife of Derek Thomas of Uxbridge MA; Sarah, wife of Joshua Roza of Upton MA; Catherine Burlingame of Upton MA and her boyfriend Brett Lewis. He is also survived by his great nephews and great niece Landon, Mason and Olivia Thomas and Matthew Roza.

George was excited about the upcoming birth of another great niece, who he had already nicknamed "Georgette". He simply had a heart of gold and will be missed by all.

In accordance with his wishes a Private Funeral will be held Wednesday (April 27th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday (April 27th) at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
