Mrs. Jean C. (Paradis) Tatro, 69, of Hopedale MA died Tuesday morning (September 15, 2026) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Allan J. Tatro.

Jean was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of the late Alverie G. Paradis and the late Rita L. (Heaton) Paradis. She attended Hopkinton MA public schools, graduating from Hopkinton High School, Class of 1975.

Jean had been employed as a CNA for many years, working at various medical facilities, including the St. Elizabeth Sisters of Charity located in Wellesley Hills MA.

Jean loved being around people and enjoyed taking care of her patients. She also loved to feed & watch the birds in her yard. She was an accomplished cook and loved to prepare meals for her family members.

Along with her beloved husband of 29 years, she is survived by her step-daughter: Christina Lavin and her husband Patrick Lavin of NH; her 4 step-grandchildren: Jack, Bridget, Meghan and Lydia; her 6 siblings: Leona Montville and her husband Harold of Bellingham MA, Helene Maty and her husband Frank of Franklin MA, George Paradis and his wife Janet of Oakham MA, William Paradis and his wife Rita of Hudson NH, Andrew Paradis (Jean’s twin brother) and his wife Lisa of Hudson MA and Joseph Paradis and his wife Laurie of Oakham MA; also many nieces & nephews.

Jean was the step-mother of the late Gregory Tatro and the sister of the late Michael Paradis and the late Philip Paradis.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of her Life will take place at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED.
