Mrs. Joanne M. (Sannicandro) Taylor, 85, of Mendon MA and formerly Milford MA, died Friday (November 5, 2021) at Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Taylor who died in 2007 and the beloved mother of the late Richard Taylor, who died this past May.

Joanne was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Louis and the late Anita (Grillo) Sannicandro. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1954.

Joanne was first employed at the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale MA and later had been employed at the Milford Hospital for over thirty-five years. She was very devoted to her family.

Joanne is survived by her daughter-in-law: Corinna Taylor of Mendon MA; her grandchildren: Kristie (Taylor) Reed and her husband Jon Reed of Hardwick MA and Douglas Taylor of Northbridge MA; her sister: Jeannie DiGirolamo of Milford MA; her two brothers: John Sannicandro and his wife Patricia of Wareham MA and Stephen Sannicandro and his wife Elaine of Douglas MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday (November 10th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Wednesday (November 10th)   from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
