Mr. John F. "Jack" Currie, 86, of Upton MA, died Friday (October 29, 2021) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Sheila T. (Ferguson) Currie.

John was born in Nova Scotia Canada, the son of the late Neil and the late Mary Jane (McNeil) Currie. He attended public schools in Canada as a young boy. John had been employed for many years as a boiler engineer, working for an apartment complex & property management company.

John was an avid sports fan and was a supporter of all the Boston sports teams.

Along with his beloved wife, he is survived by his 3 children: Neil Currie of Florida, Ann Marie Coolen and her husband David of Shirley MA and John Currie and his wife Tracey of Woodstock CT; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 4 siblings: James R. Currie of Milford NH, Maurina MacPhee of Whitinsville MA, Emma Warren of Virginia Beach VA and Ambrose Currie of Shirley MA; also several nieces & nephews.

John was the brother of the late Joseph Currie, the late Dorothea Christie and the late Neil W. Currie.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place and a private committal service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours.
