Mr. Lynn E. Ostaski, 71, of Milford MA died Wednesday evening (February 9, 2022) at the Westborough Healthcenter in Westborough MA after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda M. (Blessing) Ostaski, who died this past November after 47 years of marriage.

Mr. Ostaski was born in Pittsfield MA, the son of the late Edward and the late Bertha (Wrona) Ostaski. He attended Pittsfield public schools, graduating from Pittsfield High School, Class of 1968.

Mr. Ostaski was first employed as a young man working in the family business, the Yellow Checker Cab Company, located in Pittsfield MA. In 1988 upon his move to Milford MA, he began his career as a boiler fireman at Framingham State College.

Mr. Ostaski was an avid fan of the sport of stock car racing. But his favorite past-time was spending time with his beloved family members.

Mr. Ostaski is survived by his 2 children: Michael T. Ostaski and his fiancée Karen Wood of Worcester MA and Valerie M. Ball and her husband Christopher of Swansea MA; 2 grandchildren: Connor Richard Ball and Natalie M. Ball of Swansea MA; 1 brother: James Ostaski of Pittsfield MA; 1 sister-in-law:: Barbara E. Colgan and her fiancé David Morrill of New Milford CT; also several nieces & nephews.

His funeral will be held Wednesday (February 16th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday (February 15th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
