Mr. Maher Gendi Wisa Girgis, 72, of Weymouth MA, died Wednesday (June 5, 2019) at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston MA after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Afaf  Saroufim Mikhail Tosa.

Mr. Girgis was born in Samalout, Egypt and had served many years in the Egyptian army. He was also a retired farmer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday (June 8th) at 9am at St. Mary & St. George Egyptian Coptic Church, 27 Hood Road, Scituate MA. Burial will follow in St. Lazarus Cemetery in Charlton MA. There are no visiting hours.
