Mrs. Maria (DaSilva) De Souza, 78, of Milford MA, died Tuesday (December 15, 2020) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Joao Pereira De Souza.

Maria was born in Pirenopolis Brazil the daughter of the late Jose Luiz DaSilva and the late Maria (Benedita) DaSilva. She attended schools in Brazil as a young girl, graduating from high school. She was a devoted Christian and loved spending time with her beloved family members.

Maria is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years; her 3 children: Odair De Souza of Milford MA, Zilma DeCosta of Charlton MA and Hyzil Abreu of Charlton MA; also 5 grandchildren  &  3 great grandchildren.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Funeral Services on Saturday (December 19th) at 12 NOON at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford MA. Social distancing protocols & use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.
