Mr. Michael A. Ferrucci, 67, of Milford MA died Friday (August 7, 2026) at his residence after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Michelle Marie (Deorsey) Ferrucci.

Michael was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Attilio P. Ferrucci and the late Lillian M. (Durgin) Ferrucci. He attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School Class of 1976. He was also a graduate of UMASS-Amherst, Class of 1980.

Michael was first employed as a young man working for UPS for about 15 years. In the late 1980's he became an economics professor at Dean College in Franklin MA. Around 1985 he became a fruit/veggie vendor on Wall Street in New York City. Eventually he returned home to Milford to run the family farm on Howard Street, which had been in the family for some 200 years.

Michael grew up in Milford MA and spent most of his life in Milford MA, except for the summers in the late 1980's that he spent in New York City and the one year he spent in Italy in 1987.

Michael had many passions in life, the most prominent being associated with the family farm. He loved gardening, orchard management, tending to the many animals and working outside. He was also interested in the stock market, being a member of the Lions Club, loved listening to music, especially the Milford Band Concerts. He also loved deep sea fishing, history, cooking and was involved in the Milford Youth Center garden project. But his favorite past time was being with his beloved family members.

Along with his beloved wife of 31 years, he is survived by his 5 children: Angela LaChance and her husband Ethan LaChance of Providence RI, Jennifer Ferrucci of Milford MA, Christina Ferrucci of Milford MA, Emily Ferrucci of Milford MA and Anthony Ferrucci of Boston MA; his mother-in-law: Carol Deorsey of Uxbridge MA; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and brothers & sisters-in-law.

Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to Michael's family on Wednesday (August 12th) from 5;00pm to 7:00pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street Milford MA. In accordance with his wishes cremation will follow.

A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held SATURDAY (September 12th) at 2:00PM at the family residence, 86 Howard Street, Milford MA.
