Mrs. Patricia A. (McAuliffe) Dee, 84, of Uxbridge, MA, and formerly of Milford, MA, died Friday, July 10, 2026, at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Gerald M. Dee.

Along with her beloved husband of 60 years, she is survived by her two children: Michael G. Dee of Upton, MA, and Pamela L. Rosado of Uxbridge, MA; her four grandchildren: Alex Gerald Rosado of Uxbridge, MA, Jenna Patricia Rosado of Boston, MA, Jace Diego Rosado of Uxbridge, MA, and Logan Rafael Rosado of Uxbridge, MA; and her great-granddaughter, Juliette E. Rosado.

Patricia was born in Milford, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph P. McAuliffe and the late Lillian P. (Anderson) McAuliffe. She was a proud graduate of the former St. Mary's Central Catholic High School, Class of 1959, and also attended Dean Junior College in Franklin, MA.

After completing a banking certificate program, she began a long career in the banking industry, first working at the former Milford Savings Bank and later for the FDIC.

Patricia grew up in Milford, MA, and later split her time between West Dennis and Uxbridge with her husband, Gerry.

While her children were young, she chose to be a stay-at-home mother and was completely devoted to Michael and Pamela. While managing the day-to-day responsibilities of running a household, she remained deeply committed to caring for them and actively guiding their development. Pat took great pride in managing her home before returning to the workforce.

Patricia had many hobbies throughout her life. In her youth, she was captain of St. Mary's Central Catholic High School's cheerleading squad and formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. She also loved to knit, frequently making items for her grandchildren, and took great pride in donating handmade hats for babies born at Milford Regional Medical Center. She always made sure her family had a yearly supply of homemade jellies and piccalilli. She canned many vegetables and was an exceptional cook. Pat was always on top of the latest fashion trends and was known for her shopaholic ways. She somehow always seemed able to predict upcoming styles before they became popular and took great pride in her wardrobe, which she thoughtfully assembled over many years.

She was an unassuming yet determined woman who never passed up an opportunity to enjoy life's simple pleasures: an afternoon by the fire, time in the backyard, relaxing at the beach, a night on the town with friends, a shopping trip, or traveling. In earlier years, she enjoyed summers in Dennis Port with her nieces and nephews during family vacations. She also cherished her time at her beloved Cape house in West Dennis. She loved swimming in the ocean and strolling along the beach, especially during late afternoon walks with Gerry and her beloved terrier, Pepe. Each walk would end at the last bench on the left at West Dennis Beach, where she could sit, relax, and take it all in.

Most of all, Pat treasured and loved her family. When she was not on the Cape, she was home encouraging and supporting her grandchildren in their many endeavors. She was a resilient and steadfast emotional anchor through life's many ups and downs. Her family is comforted knowing that her final memory was the calming presence of family and friends by her side as she peacefully closed her eyes for the last time.

Patricia is also survived by her nieces, Claudia Mobilia of Milford, MA, Caren Ante of Milford, MA, and Cheryl Miller of Uxbridge, MA; her nephew, Craig Vesperi of Uxbridge, MA; and her brother-in-law, John Dee of Hopedale, MA.

Patricia was the sister of the late Barbara Vesperi; the sister-in-law of the late Marcia Myers; and the aunt of the late Christopher Vesperi and the late Curtis Vesperi.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 18,  at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford, MA. Burial of her cremated remains will follow at Hopedale Village Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 18,  from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Service.
