Mr. Richard H. Avakian, 84, of Holliston MA died Thursday (January 5, 2023) at the Metro-West medical Center in Framingham MA after an illness.

Richard was born in Cambridge MA, the son of the late Haig Avakian and the late Margaret (Gigarjian) Avakian Carella.

Richard was a US Army Viet Nam veteran and had been employed by the US Postal Service for many years.

Richard is survived by several cousins.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place and a Private Graveside Committal Service, with Military Honors, will be held at Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge MA at the convenience of the family. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
