Robin Ann (Gates) Furno, 66, of Douglas MA died Thursday (March 24, 2022) at the Milford Regional Medical Center.

Robin was born in Webster MA, the daughter of the late Warren A. Gates and the late Joanne M. (Matinsen) Gates. She attended Douglas MA public schools, graduating from Douglas Memorial High School, Class of 1973. She also attended college.

Robin had been employed as a data entry person at Worcester Quality Foods and at UPS for many years.

Robin was a lifelong resident of Douglas MA and loved spending time at the beach in Westerly RI. She also loved reading, making costume jewelry and playing games on her computer. But her favorite past-time was spending time with her pet dog, "Buddy".

Robin is survived by her 5 siblings: Gail Gates of Whitinsville MA, Star Curry and her husband Jack of Sutton MA, Elisa Benedetti and her husband Andrew of Douglas MA, Dale Gates and his wife Cheryl of Milford MA and Scott Gates of Douglas MA; also 7 nieces & 1 nephew.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and there are no funeral services & no visiting hours.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
