Mrs. Sheila Ann (Bradley) Szczypinski, 86 of Hopkinton MA and formerly of Medway MA and Milford MA died Wednesday (September 30, 2026) at Golden Pond Assisted Living in Hopkinton MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Szczypinski who died in 1996.
Sheila was born in Lowell MA, the daughter of the late Joseph Bradley and the late Dorothy E. (Page) Bradley. She attended public schools in Lowell, graduating from Lowell High School, Class of 1958.
Sheila was first employed as a young woman & mother, working in the cookie factory in Lowell MA. She then was employed as a waitress working at Russo’s Italian Restaurant also in Lowell MA. Following that she was employed as a personal banker at Berkshire County Savings Bank in Pittsfield MA. But her most rewarding and most successful job was working as a real estate agent working at the former Dallamora Realty located in Milford MA, which later became RE/Max Realty and then Hammond Realty, from which she retired.
Sheila continued her community involvement by volunteering at the Milford Regional Hospital. She loved going on shopping trips and going out to dinner with a nice glass of wine. But her favorite past time was spending time with her family members & her best friends.
Sheila is survived by her 3 children: Lisa M. Szczypinski of Colorado, David S. Szczypinski and his wife Stacey of Milford MA and John P. Szczypinski and his lifetime partner Maureen Lapp of Hopedale MA; her 2 granddaughters: Tesha Szczypinski and her fiancé Brian Hetherman of Grafton MA and Madeline Szczypinski of Grafton MA; her 2 sisters: Janice Bradley of Georgia and Judy Bradley of Florida; also many nieces & nephews.
Sheila was the sister of the late Patricia Mitchell
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Private Graveside Committal Service will be held at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham NH at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association, 93 Worcester Street, Wellesley MA 02481.
