Aline Marie (Surette) Curtis

Aline M. (Surette) Curtis, 84, of Milford MA died Wednesday (April 1, 2026) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health.

Aline was born in Hackensack NJ, the daughter of the late Chester J. Surette and the late Marguerite E. (Belliveau) Surette. She was a high school graduate and also the recipient of various administrative assistant certifications.

Aline had been employed as a legal secretary for many years. She grew up in Newton MA  and had resided in Milford MA for the past 40 years.

Aline was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She also loved animals, listening to Yacht Rock, musicals and watching her favorite TV show, “Nash” with Don Johnson. But her favorite past time was spending time with her beloved family members & friends.

Aline is survived by her brother: Louis Surette and his wife Elizabeth of Palm Beach Gardens FL; her niece: Lisa Adelman and her partner Richard Statman of Middleboro MA; also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces & great grandnephews.

Aline was the beloved mother of the late Woodrow L “Chip” Curtis III.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Private Graveside Committal Service will be held at Newton Cemetery in Newton Centre at the convenience of the family.
