Angela (Pontonio) Canal

Mrs. Angela (Pontonio) Canal, 99, of Milford MA died Sunday (April 27, 2025) at Vantage Health & Rehabilitation in Milford MA after a period of declining health.

Angela was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Savino Pontonio and the late Rosa (Ricardi) Pontonio. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School.

Angela was first employed as a young woman for the former New England Telephone Company and later was a devoted housewife & mother.

Angela loved to read and also loved to volunteer. She even volunteered at Vantage Health & Rehabilitation years before she became a resident there.

Angela was the mother of the late Richard E. Canal of California.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
