Mr. Angelo R. Biagetti, 81, of Milford MA died Wednesday (May 22, 2024) at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Joyce A. (Ferigno) Biagetti.
Angelo was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Augusto Biagetti and the late Ermalinda (Zachilli) Biagetti. He attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1960.
Angelo had proudly served as a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, serving in the Whitinsville unit of the 181st Engineers Battalion.
Angelo had been employed for 34 years working as a lineman for the Mass Electric Company, now known as National Grid, retiring in 2004.
Angelo had been a lifelong resident of Milford MA and was a longtime member of the Italian-American Veterans Post #40 in Milford MA. He loved going to the beach, especially on Cape Cod and also loved going to the movie theatre. But his favorite past time was spending time with his beloved wife and his beloved children & grandchildren.
Along with his beloved wife of 57 years, Angelo is survived by his 2 daughters: Lauren Merian and her husband David Merian of Northbridge MA and Alycia Betti and her husband Rick Betti of Milford MA; his 4 grandchildren: Zachary Merian, Sophia Merian, Ashton Betti and Logan Betti; his sister: Ada DeMaria of Port Charlotte FL; his 2 sisters-in-law: Gayle Macchi & her husband Rob Macchi and June Cavazza & her husband Billy Cavazza; also many nieces & nephews.
Angelo was the brother of the late Barney Biagetti; the late Othello “Red” Biagetti and the late Doris DeMaria.
Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY (May 28th) at 12 NOON at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with his wishes cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be held TUESDAY (May 28th) from 10:0AM to 12 NOON, prior to his Funeral Services.
