Ann Lemay Obituary

Mrs. Ann E. (Comeau) Lemay, 77, of Hudson NH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (March 18, 2021) at the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard R. Lemay, who died in 2001.

Ann was born in Somerville MA, the daughter of the late Eugene W. and the late Priscilla M. (Lovering) Comeau.

She was the oldest of six siblings and had three devoted children.  She attended Somerville public schools, graduating from Arlington High School, Class of 1961. She also attended Vesper George Art School, located in Boston MA.

Ann had many passions and love for things. First and foremost she loved spending as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren, family, and her new great grandson. She was affectionately known as Nana (Nah-Nah) to her grandchildren.

Ann had worked for many years as a graphic designer at Digital Corporation.

Ann’s creative abilities and talent provided many loving memories for the rest of the family such as collages, scrap books, paintings and portraits. Ann loved to walk on the beach and look for treasure and sea glass. She also loved antiques, yard sales, collecting books and bingo. Ann enjoyed spending time at Barnes and Noble. She found joy in always bringing a gift in hand even for simple visits. Those gifts were specific and special to each person. Ann looked forward to attending her grandchildren’s sporting events to cheer them on.

The one thing we will always be grateful for is that Ann (Nana) got to spend extended time with her family the last few years.

She will be missed beyond words by her entire family and friends.

Ann is survived by her 3 children: Beth Lemay of Milford MA, Erica Lemay of Hudson NH and Todd Lemay of Ashland NH;  5grandchildren: Brandon Sosa, Jared Sosa, Kyle Lecomte, Ashley Lecomte and Jacob Lemay; 1 great grandson: Kingston Sosa;     her siblings: Jeanne, wife of Raymond Terrell of Milford MA, Robin, wife of Brad Haroian of Houston TX, Andre Comeau and his wife Denise of Old Bridge NJ, Corey Comeau and his wife Lindsay of Florida and Nicole Comeau of Jamaica Plain MA; also  her nieces, Kristen Curran and her husband Earl of Woburn MA, Laura Desmarais and her husband Curt of Winchendon MA and nephew Chris Terrell and his wife Natasha of Norfolk MA; and several cousins.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and a Private Memorial Service for family members will be planned at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association   or    to The Salvation Army Food Pantry in Nashua NH.
