Mrs. Ann Marie (Ferretti) Yaz, 86, of Milford MA died Thursday (December 16, 2021) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Yaz, who died in 2002.
Ann Marie was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Attilio and the late Pierina (Pettenati) Ferretti. She was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1951.
Ann Marie was employed in the banking industry most of her life first working as a teller at the former Milford National Bank. She then worked as a teller & manager at the former Home National Bank located in Milford. She finished her career working at the former Milford National Bank & Trust Company, retiring at the age of seventy-seven.
Ann Marie was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and was a member & treasurer of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club. She was also a longtime volunteer at the Milford Food Pantry/Brown Bag Program.
Ann Marie loved traveling, reading, playing Solitaire , watching “Wheel of Fortune” & “The Price Is Right” with her grandsons and her trips to the Casino. But her favorite past-time was spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandsons & her great grandson.
An Marie is survived by her two daughters: Terri Yaz of Milford MA and Laura Yaz Deppert and her husband Thomas of Gilbert AZ; her three grandsons: Dr. Kevin Deppert and his wife Dr. Karla Osborne of Gilbert AZ, Ryan M. Deppert of Gilbert AZ and Justin T. Deppert of Gilbert AZ; her great grandson: Greyson Deppert of Gilbert AZ; her three siblings: Paul Ferretti of Brewster MA, Carolyn Carloni of Derby CT and Elaine Capuziello and her husband Tom of Milford MA; also several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews & many treasured friends
Her funeral will be held Tuesday (December 21st) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held Monday (December 20th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
Due to COVID-19 concerns and the wellbeing of all concerned the family requests that facial masks be worn for all facets of the funeral services.
