Anna Julia (Heyboer) Mitchell

Mrs. Anna J. (Heyboer) Mitchell, 96, of Milford MA, died Thursday (August 25, 2022) at The Willows in Westborough MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late George H. Mitchell, who died in 2002.

Anna was born in Sayville NY, the daughter of the late John Heyboer and the late Mary (Otto) Heyboer. She was a graduate of Sayville High School in Sayville NY, Class of 1943. Anna had been a resident of Milford MA since 1990.

Anna loved gardening, bowling & playing Mahjon. She also had volunteered at the Milford Regional Medical Center for over 25 years.

Anna is survived by her son: John Mitchell and his wife Ann of Pittsford NY; her son-in-law: Thomas Delfanti of Milford MA; her 4 grandchildren: Christine Mitchell and her husband, Matthew Parrish of Richmond VA, Julia Mitchell of Rochester NY, Mark Delfanti and his wife Kara of Salt Lake City UT and Michael Delfanti of Milford MA; and her niece: Robin Regan of Islip NY.

Anna was the beloved mother of the late Susan Jean (Mitchell) Delfanti, who died in 2020 and the devoted sister of the late John Heybour Jr.

In  accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Private Committal Service of her cremains will be held at the convenience of the family. The family requests  no flowers  and that you consider planting a tree in her memory or making a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice.
