Anna Frances (Tessicini) Moffi

Mrs. Anna F. (Tessicini) Moffi, 105, of Milford MA died peacefully at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health on Thursday (November 14, 2024). She was the beloved wife for 65 years of the late Louis F. Moffi who died in 2009.

Anna was born in Milford MA, the last of eleven children of the late Peter and Potenza (Petrilli) Tessicini.

Anna is survived by a son: Michael A. Moffi and his wife Barbara of Holliston MA; her 4 grandchildren: Laureen Haskell and her husband John Haskell of Hopedale MA, Sean Moffi and his wife Kim of Swansea MA, Melissa Power of Barrington RI and Jayme Moffi and his wife Bethany of Boston MA; her great grandchildren: John Haskell and his wife Adrian, Heather Haskell, Riley and Benjamin Power, Lucia and Nico Moffi; her great great grandchildren: Bryce, Aaron and Ella; also many nieces & nephews.

Anna was a lifelong resident of Milford, a graduate of Milford schools and a longtime member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Milford. Along with her late husband, she was a member of the Leisure Hour Club and the Bellvue Club.

Anna worked for many years at The Children’s Shop in Milford and the Bancroft Outerwear Company in her later years.

Anna loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. They kept her young. She loved telling stories of her past life and they in turn loved hearing them. Anna’s presence will be so very missed.

Anna is pre-deceased by her siblings: Francis Tessicini, Michael Tessicini, Cosmo Tessicini, Peter Tessicini, Joseph Tessicini, Pasquale Tessicini, Alba Thompson, Lena Deleva, Rose Annantonio and Mary Socci.

Funeral Services are Private. There are no visiting hours.
