Mrs. Anna (Oneschuk) Parente, 101, of Milford MA died peacefully Monday morning (June 5, 2023) at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late James V. Parente who died in 2018.
Anna was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Alexander Oneschuk and the late Rosalie (Kmita) Oneschuk. She attended Milford public schools as a young girl and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1940.
Anna was first employed as a young woman at the former Archer Rubber Company located in Milford MA and at the former Stylon Corporation located in Milford MA. Following her marriage to her late husband James, she became a devoted housewife & mother.
Anna was a lifelong resident of Milford MA and as a young girl in high school she was active in the Glee Club and the Civics Club. Later in life she enjoyed cooking and also enjoyed her trips to the casino. But her favorite past time was spending time with her beloved family members.
Anna is survived by her 2 daughters: Barbara Brassor of Mendon MA and Marcia Parchesky of Milford MA; her grandchildren: Sandra Wish and her husband Peter Wish of Milford MA, Lori Tenenholtz, wife of the late Aron Tenenholtz of Attleboro MA and Amy Young and her husband Zachary Young of Attleboro MA; her great grandchildren: Olivia Tenenholtz of Attleboro MA, Charlotte Young of Attleboro MA and Madelyn Young of Attleboro MA; her sister-in-law: Kathy Oneschuk of Milford MA; also many nieces & nephews.
Anna was the mother-in-law of the late David Brassor and the late James Parchesky.
Anna was also the sister of the late Rosalie Calhoun; the late Alexander Oneschuk; the late Mary Oneschuk; the late Olga Anderson; the late Alice Oneschuk; the late Lillian Smart; the late Tina Oneschuk and the late Joseph Oneschuk.
Anna’s family would like to extend a special thank-you to all her caregivers, especially Ines, Ana & Xiamara and also to her doctors and the Milford Fire Department & Milford Police Department.
Funeral Services will be held Monday (June 12th) at 12 NOON at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held Monday (June 12th) from 10:30am to 12 NOON at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Service.
