Mrs. Carolyn K. (Linebaugh) Mobilia, 84, of Milford MA died Friday morning (November 18, 2022) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. “Moe” Mobilia, who died in 2015.
Carolyn was born in Clarinda Iowa, the daughter of the late Wilbur and the late Mildred (Bussard) Linebaugh. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln NE, Class of 1956.
Carolyn was first employed as a young woman at Smith-Dorsey Pharmaceuticals in Lincoln NE and then later at Valpey-Fisher Corporation located in Hopkinton MA.
Carolyn had served as the recording secretary for the Ridgewood Women’s Club in Milford MA. She also had volunteered as a girl scout den mother. She loved raising her family and took great pride in her grandchildren and in attending their various sporting events & dance recitals.
Carolyn is survived by her 4 children: Karen A., wife of Joe Morais of Portugal, Michael P. Mobilia and his wife Maria of Milford MA, Thomas E. Mobilia and his wife Linda of Milford MA and Stephen D. Mobilia and his wife Claudia of Milford MA; her 5 grandchildren: Hannah Mobilia, Nicholas Mobilia, Tony Mobilia, Kaitlyn Mobilia and Gabby Mobilia; her bother-in-law: Dennis Mobilia of Waltham MA; her 4 sisters-in-law: MaryJo Linebaugh of Lincoln NE, Beverly Mobilia of Holliston MA, Barbara Sullivan of Newton MA and Dolores Mobilia of Corona CA; also many nieces & nephews.
Carolyn was the sister of the late Gary Linebaugh; the late Marilyn Benbeneck and the late Chuck Atkins; and the sister-in-law of the late Jack Mobilia.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Her funeral will be held SATURDAY (November 26th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial of her cremains will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home on SATURDAY (November 26th) from 8:30am to 9:30am, prior to her Funeral Mass.
