Celine Therese (Wood) Colecchi

Celine T. (Wood) Colecchi, 83 of Milford MA died Tuesday (March 31, 2026) at the Timothy Daniels House in Holliston MA.

Celine was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late William McCarthy and the late Maree (Flanigan) Wood and was raised by her step-father Stephen Wood. She was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1962 and also a graduate of the Mass Bay Community College with Honors with a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing.

Celine was first employed as a young woman in the 1970’s, working as a real estate agent. She later owned Nightingale Enterprises/Celines, working as a licensed practical nurse into her “60’s” until she retired in order to take care of her granddaughter.

Celine grew up in Milford MA, and then resided in Franklin MA. She then resided in the North End of Boston in the 1980’s. She later moved to Falmouth MA on Cape Cod until moving back to Milford MA in 2007.

Celine loved to garden and loved to write poetry. She also loved to read and stay up on current events, like politics, environmental issues & music. 

Celine is survived by her 2 daughters: Nikki Colecchi of Milford MA and Ann Donovan of Oak Harbor Washington; her 3 grandchildren: Ari-Pagan Colecchi of Milford MA, Shannon Lynn Lawson of Freeland Washington and Sean Donovan Lawson of Freeland Washington; her 7 great grandchildren: Troy Nelson, Ariez Lawson, Isaac Spears, Jayden Sorensen Lawson, Tyler Lawson, Jonah Neson and Enzo Tulli; her sister: Elaine Eden of Bellingham MA and her daughter Carlette Roda of Milford MA; her sister-in-law: Kristin Wood of Millville MA and her daughters Leanna Vera Wood of Los Angeles CA and Katherine Bzdel of Boston MA.

Celine was pre-deceased by her mother Maree Wood; her step-father Steven Wood; her father William McCarthy; her great grandson Caleb Spears and her brother Steven “Larry” Wood.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on SATURDAY (June 13th) at 12 NOON at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA.
