Charles Michael Fitzgerald

Mr. Charles Michael Fitzgerald, 72, of Milford MA died Monday evening (August 14, 2023) at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Charles J. Fitzgerald and the late Blanche (Fitzpatrick) Fitzgerald. He attended the former St. Mary’s Grammar School and former St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1968.

Mike was a lifelong resident of Milford and was first employed as a young man as the manager of the sporting goods department at the K-Mart Department Store in Milford. He later was employed at Honeywell-Bull Corporation.

Mike was an avid motorcyclist, and also loved playing darts, walking, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family members & friends.

Mike is survived by his partner in life: Karen Teixeira; his daughter: Christina P. Fitzgerald; his 3 grandchildren: Kyle J. Velez, Steven A. Howarth and Miley Ann Howarth; and his brother: Thomas Fitzgerald.

Mike was the brother of the late Kathleen Fitzgerald and the late Dennis Fitzgerald.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. There are no funeral home services or visiting hours.
