Charlotte Mary (Tredeau) Taddei

Mrs. Charlotte M. (Tredeau) Taddei, 80, of Milford MA died late Sunday night (May 24, 2026) at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home in Medway MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of  Retired Milford Fire Chief John A.Taddei.

Charlotte was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Charles A. Tredeau and the late Yolanda (Tumolo) Tredeau. She attended the former St. Mary’s Grammar School and was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1963. She also received her nursing degree from the David Hill Fanning Nursing School in Worcester MA, which was associated with St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Charlotte spent her lifetime working in the medical industry, first working as a registered nurse at Milford Hospital. She then was employed as a registered nurse working in the office of the late Dr. John Farrell. Following that she was employed as a registered nurse at the former Leonard Morse Hospital located in Natick MA and then returned to working as the registered nurse working in the offices of Dr. Steven Taraborelli. Following that she was last employed in her dream job, working as a registered nurse in the obstetrics department at Framingham Union Hospital

Charlotte was an accomplished needlepoint artisan creating numerous pieces. But her favorite past time was spending time with her beloved family members, especially her grandchildren & her great grandchild.

Along with her beloved husband of 61 years, she is survived by her 3 children: Joseph V. Taddei and his wife Julia of Douglas MA, Christina M. Taddei of Millis MA and John L. Taddei and his wife Rose of Geneva FL; her 7 grandchildren: Scott Taddei of Oregon, Alexander Taddei of Mendon MA, Matthew Taddei and his wife Raquel of California, Samantha Taddei of Geneva FL, Faith Taddei of Geneva FL, Grace Taddei of Geneva FL and Anna Taddei of Geneva FL; her 2 great grandchildren: Scarlett Taddei of Mendon MA and Theodore Taddei of California.

Charlotte is also survived by her 3 siblings: Harris Tredeau and his wife MaryJane of Dennis MA, Robert Tredeau and his wife Judy of Upton MA and Charles Tredeau Jr. of Ventura CA; her sister-in-law: Wendy Tredeau of Milford MA; and several nieces & nephews.

Charlotte was the sister of the late Louis Tredeau who died in 2014.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be held FRIDAY (June 12th) at 11:00am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held FRIDAY (June 12th) from 9:00am to 11:00am, prior to her Funeral Service.
