Clementina Ann "Tina" (Ghelli) Foglio

Mrs. Clementina A. “Tina” (Ghelli) Foglio, 91, of Milford MA died Saturday evening at Cornerstone at Milford Assisted Living after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred L. Foglio who died in 2022.

Tina was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Joseph Ghelli and the late Mary (Ferrelli) Ghelli. She attended the former Sacred Heart Grammar School as a young girl and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1951. She was also a graduate of the former St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester MA.

Tina then began her long and successful career working as a registered nurse at Milford Hospital, eventually working as an operating room nurse at the hospital for many years.

Tina was a lifelong resident of Milford MA and a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She was also a longtime member of the Sons of Italy. She also loved to go dancing and loved to go on all kinds of shopping trips.

Tina is survived by her four children: Joseph Foglio and his wife Lorraine of Swarthmore PA, Stephen Foglio and his wife Brenda of Indianapolis IN, Alfred Foglio II and his wife Anita of London UK and Maria Levine and her husband James Levine of Westborough MA; her nine grandchildren: Anthony Foglio and Sophia Foglio of Swarthmore PA, Luca Foglio and Theo Foglio of Indianapolis IN, Zachary Levine and Nicole Levine of Westborough MA, and Nicolo Foglio, Mila Foglio and Carlo Foglio of London UK; also several nieces & nephews.

Tina was the sister of the late Marie Hickey  of Dorchester MA.

Her funeral will be held Friday (May 9th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. A PRIVATE COMMITTAL  SERVICE will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Thursday (May 8th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
