Dawn B. Hawkins

It is with heartbreaking sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Dawn B. Hawkins. She sadly chose to leave this world on January 4, 2022. She was born and lived in Milford her whole life. She attended and graduated from Milford High School in 1990.

Dawn is loved and survived by her beautiful children Samantha E. Cheschi (20) and her son Nicholas L. “Nikko” Cheschi (16). Her Father Barry B. Hawkins and Mother April A. Hawkins. Her sister Sue L. Hawkins Carey. Several cousins, extended family and friends.

The children are proceeded by their father Steven E. Cheschi. In addition to Dawns cousin Lance Abusamra.

Samantha and Nikko are unconditionally loved and supported by both the Hawkins and Cheschi families, their extended families both here and those that have passed.

Dawn was an adored bartender at the Medway VFW. She will be missed and mourned by many there.

She treasured watching her son play football and her daughter cheer for the Milford Hawks. Dawn was a prized gymnast. She loved her dog Logan, Bon Jovi and Lifetime movies.

The overwhelming amount of support of so many people close to Dawn and many just in support of the children is overwhelming. The combined families would like to give thanks for the donations from so many in support of Samantha and Nikko. With special thanks to the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, Milford Hawks Football program/teammates and the administrative support from Milford High School for going above and beyond for these amazing children.

Please come and join her children in an observance Dawn’s life and help them see how dearly they are loved and cared about.

A Celebration of Dawn’s Life will be held Saturday (January 15th) from 11AM to 1PM at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to The Rockland Trust Bank for the Benefit of Samantha & Nicholas Cheschi.
