Mrs. Debra T. Fowler Clare, 44, of Mendon MA, died Friday (September 28, 2018) at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston MA after a year long courageous battle with cancer. She went peacefully with her husband David Clare by her side.
Deb was born in Newburyport MA, the daughter of Clarence and Mary Fowler of Seabrook, NH. She was a graduate of Winnacunnet High School in Hampton NH, Class of 1992. She obtained a Bachelor of Social Work from Castleton State College in Castleton VT, Class of 1996. Deb also obtained her Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from Framingham State College in 1998.
Deb started her professional career in college orientation & student activities with positions at Framingham State College, Northern Essex Community College and finally at Regis College. She later worked as a conference producer in the life sciences. During the last seven years she found her true passion as an avid Zumba and Barre instructor all while being a devoted mother.
Deb touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved all types of outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends in the mountains of New Hampshire. Deb always had strength, energy, and positivity. Her smile would light up the room, even in the most challenging times. She loved life itself, and it showed.
Along with her beloved husband of 19 years, Deb is survived by her loving children Tyler, 13 & Abby, 10.
In accordance with Debra’s wishes, cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to Debra’s family on Wednesday, October 10th from 4pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. All are also welcome to attend a separate celebration of life service that will be held on Thursday, October 11th from 4pm – 7pm at the Crystal Room, 49 Cedar St., Milford, MA.
