Diane Marie (Flanders) Julian

Mrs. Diane M. (Flanders) Julian, 82, of Hopedale MA passed away Friday (May 29, 2026) peacefully at her home surrounded by the comfort of the place she loved and called home for 40 years.

Diane dedicated her life to education and service to others. Throughout her distinguished career, she worked as both a teacher and a guidance counselor, helping to shape the lives of countless students at school with her wisdom, compassion and unwavering encouragement. She was deeply committed to supporting young people and took great pride in helping them discover their strengths and pursue their goals.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Diane was a devoted wife, mother, and family member whose kindness and caring nature touched all who knew her. She valued family above all else and created a home filled with love, warmth and lasting memories.

Diane is survived by her beloved husband, Ron Julian; her son, Jason Julian; her sister-in-law, Donalee Julian; her brother-in-law James Morse; her brother-in-law Mickey Julian; and her granddaughter, the light of her life, Bella Sofia Julian. Her legacy of compassion, guidance and love will continue to live on in all those fortunate enough to have known her.

A private family remembrance will be held at the convenience of the family. Diane’s family asks that she be remembered not only for her years of service as an educator and counselor, but for the kindness, wisdom and love she shared so feely with others.

She will be forever remembered.
