Doris Leblanc Obituary

Mrs. Doris R. (Morris) Leblanc, 96, of Milford MA, died Thursday (March 14, 2024) at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Milford MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo L. Leblanc, who died in 1998 and the devoted mother of the late Larry LeBlanc of Atlanta GA.


Doris was born in East Providence RI, the daughter of the late Thomas Morris and the late Bertha (Dubuque) Morris. She attended St. Cecelia’s parochial schools in Pawtucket RI, and later received a certificate degree from Kingon’s Commercial School in Pawtucket RI.


Doris grew up in Pawtucket RI, and then as a military wife  lived in several locations, including Maine, Virginia, Guam, San Diego CA, Long Island NY and then finally settling in Milford MA for 58 years. She had been employed at the former Data General Corporation.


Doris was an avid reader, and loved sewing & knitting. And her favorite past-time was traveling with her late husband, Leo.


Doris is survived by her 3 daughters: Linda LeBlanc-Beauchesne and her husband Paul Beauchesne of Brooksville FL, Maryann LeBlanc of Upton MA and Janine LeBlanc and her partner Wayne Marino of Hopkinton MA; her grandchildren: Nicole Douthit of Manhattan KS, Evan Tamagni of Los Angeles CA, Eli Tamagni of Brooklyn NY, Ella Tamagni of Brooklyn NY and Grace Marino of Hopkinton MA; her great grandchildren: Coleman Douthit & Melanie Douthit of Manhattan KS; her 3 sisters: Evelyn McCambridge of Florida, Claire Snell and her husband Fred Snell of North Carolina & Alice Stefanik and her husband Stanley Stefanik of New Hampshire; also several nieces & nephews.


Doris was the sister of the late Betty Morris.


In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Private Committal Service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA at the convenience of the family. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
