Eleanor (Borelli) Tusia

Mrs. Eleanor (Borelli) Tusia, 100, of Hopedale MA and formerly of Ashland MA, died on (December 25, 2021 after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic J. Tusia, who died in 1996.

Eleanor was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of the late James and the late Rose (Fay) Borelli. She attended Ashland MA public schools and was a graduate of Ashland High School, Class of 1939.

Eleanor was first employed as a young woman at the former Telechron Corporation located in Ashland MA. She later worked at Fenwal Laboratories in Framingham MA. But her life was primarily dedicated to being a devoted mother and grand-mother.

Eleanor was an avid reader and loved to garden. She was also an accomplished seamstress, who loved knitting, quilting & braiding rugs. There are numerous pieces of her work that are cherished by her family members.

Eleanor had been a resident of Ashland MA for seventy years. She was also a summer resident of the Sunapee NH lakes region for twenty-six years.

Eleanor is survived by her loving granddaughter: Lisa A. Lynch and her husband Robert of Hopedale MA and  her two great grandsons: Brendan Lynch & Kevin Lynch of Hopedale MA.

Eleanor was the mother of the late Elaine (Tusia) Hinde of Bloomsburg PA, who died in 2012 and the sister of the late Primo Borelli, the late Albert Borelli, the late Fred Borelli, the late Joseph Borelli, the late Charles Borelli, the late John Borelli & the late Henry Borelli.

A Private Graveside Committal Service will be held at Hopedale Village Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no funeral home visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home of Milford MA.
