Elizabeth Anne "Bette" (DePaolo) Liberto

Mrs. Elizabeth A. “Bette” (DePaolo) Liberto, 84, of Mashpee MA and formerly of Milford MA died Tuesday (August 29, 2023) at her residence in Mashpee MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Milford Police Chief Vincent W. Liberto who died in 2020.

Bette was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Stephen G. DePaolo and the late Caroline G. (Dow) DePaolo. She attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1957.

Bette had been employed in the banking industry for over thirty years, starting her career at the former Home National Bank located in Milford MA and retiring as a bank official at the former Milford National Bank & Trust Company.

Bette loved spending time with her beloved late husband Vincent & her family members at their various beach houses over the years, located in Onset MA, Wareham MA and then finally in Mashpee MA.

Bette is survived by her beloved daughter: Susan E. Liberto of Mashpee MA; also many nieces & nephews.

Bette was the mother of the late Joel V. Liberto, who died in 2019.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday (September 5th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Tuesday morning (September 5th) from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Mass.
