Elizabeth Morin Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth C. (Campbell) Morin, 65, of Milford MA died late Wednesday night (August 19, 2020) at her residence after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. She was the beloved wife of David J. Morin.

 

Elizabeth was born in Bath Maine, the daughter of the late Richard and the late Rosemary (Donohue) Campbell. She was a graduate of Morse High School in Bathe ME, Class of 1973. She was also a graduate of University of Maine, Class of 1977.

 

Elizabeth had been a resident of Milford MA since 1980 and prior to that had resided in Days Ferry ME. She was first employed at the former Piece Goods Store, located in Milford MA. She later worked for Putnam Investments in the Franklin MA office and then finally in the accounting department at the Framingham State University.

 

Elizabeth had been a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority while attending the University of Maine. She was an avid long distance runner and was a member of the Tri-Valley Frontrunners. She had participated in the 2001 Lowell Marathon and in the 2002 Boston Marathon.

 

Elizabeth was a skilled seamstress who loved to sew. She was known for her homemade Christmas tree ornaments and loved to spend time with her fellow workers attending craft shows. She loved spending time with her family and her favorite place was Drakes Island in Maine.

 

Along with her beloved husband of forty-one years, she is survived by her two children: Ann-Marie E. Adams and her husband Christopher of Atlanta GA and Eric D. Morin and his significant other Amber Jacobs of Manhattan KS; her five siblings: Thomas Campbell and his wife Mary of Grand Rapids Michigan, John Campbell of Maine, Colin Campbell of Georgia, Margaret Plummer of Bath Maine and Jane Campbell of Portland Maine; her brother-in-law: Edmond Morin and his wife Susanne of Portland Maine and her sister-in-law: Virginia Woodman and her husband Bruce of Windham Maine; also many nieces, nephews & cousins.

 

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held SATURDAY (September 26th) at Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale MA at 12 Noon. Burial of her cremains will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no visiting hours. Social distancing protocols & use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.

 

 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 309 Waverly Street, Waltham MA 02452.
