Mr. Gennaro A. Cangiano, 61, of Milford MA died unexpectedly at his residence.
Gennaro was born in Boston MA, the son of the late Mauro Cangiano and the son of Piera (Venuta) Cangiano of Walpole MA. He was a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood MA. He also attended Northeastern University.
Gennaro was first employed as a young man at a neighborhood butcher shop where he learned the value of hard work. He later was employed at EMC Corporation for 19 years, working at many of their locations. Following that he was employed at Amerisource Bergen Pharmaceutical Company in Mansfield MA. He later worked as a chef at the former Myriad Ball Room located in Mendon MA and then lastly at Label Identification Corporation located in Hopedale MA.
Gennaro was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston Bruins. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and loved to cook. His favorite past time was spending time with his beloved family members, especially his children.
Along with his loving mother Piera of Walpole MA, he is survived by his beloved children: Tawny J. Cangiano of Clinton MA and Christopher M. Cangiano of Sterling MA; his grandson: Dillon Woods of Clinton MA; his siblings: Helen, John and Paul; also many nieces & nephews.
In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. There are no funeral home visiting hours or funeral home services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
